Outbound24
INSTALLATION GUIDE

From setup to your first inquiry.

1. Create your workspace

Sign in with ChatGPT, then enter your company name, exact HTTPS website URL, contact email and privacy notice. Select your market, default language and a dark brand accent.

2. Run a private test

In Widget & install, open the installation preview. Submit fictional contact details, then return to the lead inbox and enable “Show test inquiries.” The saved record includes the project requirements and the permission wording. Preview submissions do not send email or consume the paid allowance.

3. Add the embed

Copy the code from Widget & install into a custom HTML block. For WordPress, use a Custom HTML block in the page editor. For other builders, use their supported HTML or code embed. Your builder must allow scripts and iframes. Outbound24 must be publicly accessible before external installations work.

If your website has a Content Security Policy, allow Outbound24’s origin in its script-src and frame-src directives. Have your website administrator update the policy narrowly; do not disable your existing policy.

4. Check the exact host

https://example.com and https://www.example.com are different origins. Set the one visitors actually use in Company settings. The widget permits embedding on that exact origin and Outbound24 only. A blocked iframe usually indicates a host mismatch, a website security policy or an owner-private Outbound24 deployment.

5. Activate collection

Review your company’s privacy notice and complete the secure subscription checkout when available. Collection activates only after the payment provider confirms an active subscription. If checkout is unavailable, the operator has not completed seller setup.

6. Check attribution and alerts

Open a page with campaign parameters, such as ?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=commercial-replacement. The embed passes those values and the current path with a submitted inquiry. Direct visitors will show “direct.” It does not recover missing campaign history, inspect your ad account or identify a person from an anonymous visit.

Service alerts go to your authenticated workspace owner email when email delivery is configured. Inquiries are saved even if an alert fails. The inbox shows pending alerts; recent failures can be retried. Check the inbox regularly rather than relying solely on email.

7. Manage the sales handoff

Open an inquiry, contact the person about their stated project, and update the sales status. Priority scores are rules based on size, timing and project type. They are not a probability that a customer will buy. Keep follow-up within the permission the visitor provided.

Data and limits

The founding plan includes 500 real inquiries per calendar month and 50 test inquiries. New submissions pause at the limit. The dashboard displays up to 1,000 recent records; CSV export includes up to 10,000. Delete individual records when no longer needed. Export before deleting a workspace.
